For the first time in more than a decade, the National Marine Manufacturers Association saw an increase in first time boat buyers. In the United States, over 310,000 power boats were sold in 2020, up 12% from 2019. Rather than social distancing at home, people are turning to boating, where they can enjoy the nice weather and safely practice social distancing.
